Heidi

History

Heidi has recently ventured into the world of ceramics. In her Helsinki workshop, she meticulously crafts boxes, dishes, and ceramic bowls by hand in her studio. 

During our visit to meet her, we were captivated by her distinctive artistic universe and her approach to working with ceramics, characterized by freely flowing and natural shapes. Notably, her small boxes, affectionately named "pansies," stood out.

Within her unique universe, one aspect particularly impressed us: she personally collects clay from the beaches of Finland. Subsequently, she blends and manipulates the clay to achieve her desired ceramic textures.
