Today, we introduce to you the Trugs, the English Royal baskets.
You might wonder, why "royal"? Well, picture this: Queen Victoria herself fell in love with these baskets, crafted entirely from chestnut and handmade in Sussex, following an age-old tradition. Her affection for them led to a royal decree, dressing all the court gardeners in these distinctive baskets!
This tradition endures in England to this day, evident in both the enduring craftsmanship carried on by Robin and the continued presence of Trugs in the royal gardens!
