In his workshop, assisted by his niece, Pertti crafts traditional Finnish poplar boxes known as the Vakkas, along with trays.

This ancient craftsmanship faces the threat of extinction, with only Pertti and another craftsman keeping the tradition alive.

Pertti meticulously selects roots and trees from his region to handcraft his boxes and trays.
