Cruches Provençales

History

Pressing, demolding, trimming, turning, drying, and baking!

The pieces may appear simple however they involve multiple steps in the process that embody ancestral craftsmanship and the sunshine of Provence where they are produced.

The jugs, pitchers, and carafes in our collection are glazed only on the inside, highlighting the shine of the glaze against the matte exterior, which is left as biscuit.

The shapes and sizes vary, depict the history and diversity of pitcher usage in France.
