Provençal potter
HISTORY
Pressing, demolding, deburring, turning, drying, and firing!
So many steps for pieces that appear simple but reflect both time-honored craftsmanship and the sunshine of Provence
, where the pieces are produced.
The jugs, pitchers, and carafes in our collection are glazed only on the inside, highlighting the brilliance of the glaze in contrast to the matte exterior, which is unglazed bisque.
The shapes and sizes vary, reflecting the history and diverse uses of pitchers in France.
