Milla Vaahtera
History
Milla advocates freedom and poetry. “Glass is like me, spontaneous and organic” she says and it shows in her creations. She blows with her mouth and assembles pieces of glass herself to create unique movable suspensions. From the color to the shape of the glass, all the pieces can be chosen and are available to order.
Through her way of working with glass and accepting its changing nature, Milla has managed to give her pendant lamps a timeless and very soft character.
She is one of the 100 talents selected in 2021 by AD Italy, who are revolutionizing the world of design and their way of relaying it.
