Vibenca Fans
HISTORY
In his small Catalan workshop, Vicente has been crafting fans—a tradition passed down from father to son for generations—since 1910, to be exact. This warm-hearted man carries on this dying craft with heart and passion. It takes several artisans to make a single fan (woodworking, a fan frame maker, a fan maker…), while Vicente handles the final decoration: hand-painting. It’s work that demands meticulous attention to detail and precision, and it’s what gives these charming yet old-fashioned objects their unique charm. They’re made from pear wood or exotic woods to ensure they’re as light as possible. Olé!
