In Paris Julie Brouant hand-paints all kinds of ceramic supports, on which to express her illustrated universe influenced by folk art, nature and images from the past. She is often inspired by historical motifs and aims to capture an artisanal feel, where textures, brushstrokes and handprints add to the atmosphere of a piece or the character of an object.
