In the purest Venetian Murano glass tradition, the LEV sculpture is created by hand from the shards of glass used in traditional weddings.
The unique process enables the master glassmaker to freeze the shards in molten, hand-worked glass into the shape of a heart, creating an eternal keepsake.
If you order the sculpture, the glass will first be sent to you so that you can return the shards to us.
ATTENTION: only LEV glass can be used for the sculpture.
NB: Did you know? Murano's reputation as a glass-making center dates back to the time of the Venetian Republic. Fearing fire and the destruction of the city, most of whose buildings were made of wood, the Republic ordered the destruction of all the city's foundries in 1291. This order was accompanied by incentives to build foundries outside the city, and by the end of the 13th century, the glass industry had developed on the island of Murano.
