This boxwood spatula with holes, hand-carved in Catalonia, will be, your perfect ally in the kitchen thanks to its long handle.
This spatula with holes has been specially designed by our Catalan artisan for paella: Indeed, its holes prevent the grains of rice from sticking, and ensures a more homogeneous mixture (the grains of rice pass through the holes, without sticking to each other under the spoon pushing).
We also think it works very well for risotto, quinoa, and other legumes for the more “veggie”;) 😉
NB: The wooden utensils should be hand-washed, in hot water with a soft sponge and dishwashing liquid if necessary. Then, they can be wiped quickly, or can be let to dry on a cloth because wood does not like humidity! Microwaves and dishwashers are to be avoided.
In order to preserve their natural beauty, feed them from time to time with a colorless vegetable oil, such as grape seed or colza oil (1 to 2 times a year for daily use).
