On these ceramic plates, wheel-thrown and hand-painted in the Cyclades, unfold the motifs dear to Nikos: flowers, the tree of life, ichthys, octopus, and other marine symbols. Rendered in an endless palette of blues—sometimes deep, sometimes luminous—these decorations illuminate the table and immediately invite travel. Each motif is applied freehand, guided by the inspiration of the moment, and no two plates are ever quite the same, as if the sea, the wind, and the light had also signed the ceramic. At the table, they bring a feeling of summer and the simple, precious impression of sharing a fragment of the Mediterranean all year round.

Here, tradition dates back to Antiquity. Pottery made on these Cycladic islands long traveled by boat, delivered from village to village all the way to Athens. In the workshop located in the north of the island, with no precise address—you arrive by following directions from the neighbors—pottery has been a family affair for over a century. In summer, production intensifies to supply holiday tables and loyal clients; the rest of the year, Nikos takes the time to create pieces for the elegant neighborhoods of Athens and for La Maison de Commerce in Paris.

The style of this tableware rests on gentle contrasts: a subtle balance between perfection and irregularity, simple drawings, confident forms, and luminous colors. Timeless, not to say eternal, these plates invite you to mix motifs, color the table, and compose a living, joyful service. They naturally pair with the carafes, bowls, and cups from the collection, creating a tableware set of a thousand colors.
