The handcrafted ceramic “Grenade” pitcher features the botanical motifs and characteristic colors of the Granada tradition. Its antique-style design, inspired by Andalusian decorative heritage, adds a splash of color to the table. Its generous shape makes it a practical everyday piece—just as pleasant to use as a pitcher or vase as it is to admire.
Based in Granada, Spain, the Los Arrayanes workshop has been carrying on the art of Granada ceramics since 1988, an art form whose origins date back to the Nasrid tradition, which flourished between the 12th and 15th centuries. Trained by master ceramist Agustín Morales Alguacil, the artisans shape the clay, apply glazes, and create designs using traditional methods passed down through generations.
This ceramic pitcher is a natural fit on the table for serving water or other beverages. It can also hold a few flowers and serve as a decorative piece. Its traditional design bridges the gap between time-honored craftsmanship and contemporary uses.
The Grenade pitcher comes in several colors: dusty pink, green, and purple.
