The Grenade ceramic butter dish features the botanical motifs and characteristic colors of the Granada tradition. Its antique-style design, inspired by Andalusian decorative heritage, adds a splash of color to the table. An everyday piece that combines the charm of traditional ceramics with the simple rituals of breakfast.
Based in Granada, Spain, the Los Arrayanes workshop has been carrying on the art of Granada ceramics since 1988, an art form whose origins date back to the Nasrid tradition, which flourished between the 12th and 15th centuries. Trained by master ceramist Agustín Morales Alguacil, the artisans shape the clay, apply glazes, and create designs using traditional methods passed down through generations.
This ceramic butter dish is perfect for serving butter at the breakfast or brunch table. Its traditional design and glazed finish make it a functional piece that fits naturally among your everyday tableware, while showcasing artisanal craftsmanship.
The Grenade butter dish comes in several colors: green, blue, and purple.
