In Greece, it has been decorating vases and amphorae since Antiquity, as on this large bowl with blue and white decorations turned and hand-painted in Sifnos, in the Cyclades, by Nikos.
NB: Hand-Painted, each decoration is unique: sometimes lighter or darker, more melted or more marked, the tentacles of our "octopus" undulate there each time differently, according to the imagination of our craftsman...
