This terracotta umbrella stand was made in the heart of the Savoie region using an ancestral method known as 'rope firing'.
This technique involves forming ceramics by gently wrapping a damp rope around a base, then spraying the clay evenly onto the rope. Once the object has been formed, the string is gently removed from the inside of the ceramic and the object is then fired.
In this way, potters can create objects of large size and circumference more easily.
Different colors are available for this model. Don't hesitate to send us an e-mail at info@lamaisondecommerce to find out which ones :)
