Today, if these “mantas” can still be used as blankets, they are also used as bedspreads, wall hangings, or graphic and contemporary rugs.
Each “manta” is unique, woven on 19th century looms, entirely by hand. Through their traditional patterns and their vibrant colors, it is the soul of the Alentejo that are found in them.
