Very common in Spain and throughout the Mediterranean basin for centuries, the gargoulette or botijo is the ancestor of the water-bottle. This unglazed ceramic object was used to keep water cool, even in direct sunlight! In fact, its porous structure allows evaporation to refresh the water inside.
This one's special! Specially designed for our animal friends, it's a bowl-water pot that allows them to have fresh water at any time of day.
