Diana Barbosa paints delicate floral designs on her stoneware boxes, inspired by the plant world and wildflowers. Their bright and luminous colors make each box a small work of art.
A ceramist since 2015, Diana Barbosa works with stoneware between Portugal and France. Each box is entirely shaped, enameled and hand-painted using traditional modeling techniques. The deliberately clean lines are highlighted by a sensitive use of glazes and brush painting.
Designed as objects that are as useful as they are decorative, these boxes can hold jewelry, small treasures or everyday souvenirs, while naturally finding their place on a shelf, a bedside table or a console.
Made as a unique piece, each box bears the artist's poetic signature.
