For this exhibition, Beatriz Garrigo explores a new palette of greens—in three shades—and creates original jar designs. Her primary medium is drawing and painting: it is through this free and spontaneous form of expression that she composes her motifs before transferring them to ceramic. This jar, shaped from local Bisbal clay and then decorated with engobes, creates a dialogue between the painter’s gesture and that of the ceramicist. The birds and plant forms seem to come to life on the surface in a joyful composition.
