Inspired by a boat ride to Cap Sicié, near her studio, Lucie Sotty creates a landscape where land meets sea, drawing on what she observes both underwater and on the surface. Crafted as an organic mosaic of glazed stoneware, this free-form diptych evokes the contours of a Mediterranean landscape. The shades of pastel blue and sandy beige alternately evoke the sea, the rock, and the coastline, while the glazes add depth and texture to this entirely handcrafted work.
