Tortellà, a small Catalan town in the Alta Garrotxa region.
It was here, in 1960, that a small workshop for making wooden utensils was established in the basement of a family home.
Today, driven by a passion for woodcarving passed down from his ancestors, Ferran carries on the family’s tradition: his kitchen utensils are carved from top-quality boxwood or beech, sourced from sustainably managed farms with as little mechanization as possible.
The man is adamant: this is the only way to produce pieces that are so delicate, with perfect, graceful, and pleasing shapes, and an impeccable finish.
