Orange in ceramic
- 7 item left
Hand-shaped in the Sarthe, this ceramic orange brings a touch of cheer to both tables and shelves. Displayed on its own, as a pair, or among other ceramic fruits and vegetables, it plays with trompe-l’œil effects and lets a ray of sunshine into the home.
It is made in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, a land of faience and stoneware since the 18th century. In this family-run workshop, local clay is still used—collected, sifted, then left to dry on site for two years. A process that has become unique in France. Each piece is thus the result of a long, patient craft, heir to an ancestral savoir-faire.
A small, discreet and joyful sculpture, reminding us that the simplest forms can become true decorative objects.
Because we're handmade, all our items are unique, even in small production runs. At La Maison de Commerce, you'll never find 2 identical objects, especially the one in the photo and yours. This guarantees its authenticity and beauty, as well as the few irregularities inherent in its manufacture by the best craftsmen in France and Europe. All our items are delivered with a certificate of authenticity issued by La Maison de Commerce.
