Small in size, big in presence. Inspired by traditional milkman’s stools, this three-legged stool is turned in Paris by Antonis Cardew from carefully selected woods: pear, walnut, or light oak. Its sleek silhouette, stability, and lightness make it a discreet companion that fits seamlessly into any space.
Antonis began working with solid wood in London before settling between the Normandy countryside and the Paris region. He set up his lathe in a small room strewn with wood shavings, where he transforms wood scraps into everyday objects. His stools, treated with walnut oil, reveal the softness of their grain and the delicacy of their curves with a confident simplicity. Whether used as an extra seat around the table, at the end of a sofa, or at the foot of the bed, the milkman’s stool naturally finds its place and, with its understated look, evokes a return to the essentials.
This stool is available in: pear wood, walnut, elm, dark oak, light oak, red oak, and cherry wood.
