The “Grenade” ceramic dinner plate features the botanical motifs and characteristic colors of the Granada tradition. Its classic design, inspired by Andalusian decorative heritage, adds a splash of color to the table. A plate with simple lines, designed to complement both everyday meals and more elaborate dinners.
Based in Granada, Spain, the Los Arrayanes workshop has been carrying on the art of Granada ceramics since 1988, an art form whose origins date back to the Nasrid tradition, which flourished between the 12th and 15th centuries. Trained by master ceramist Agustín Morales Alguacil, the artisans shape the clay, apply glazes, and create designs using traditional methods passed down through generations.
This ceramic dinner plate is designed for main courses and naturally takes its place at the center of the table setting. Its traditional design bridges the gap between time-honored traditions and contemporary uses, creating a table setting where colors and patterns complement one another.
The Grenade dinner plate comes in several colors: blue, green, and dusty pink.
