This Lusitano dinner plate features a delicate border design. Against a light background, small blue and green motifs adorn the rim, leaving ample space in the center for the meal. Hand-painted in Portugal, it is part of the House of Capricorn collection, where traditional motifs meet tableware designed for everyday use. Its 26.5 cm diameter makes it a dinner plate that pairs easily with other pieces in the collection. A subtle way to bring color and pattern into your daily life.

Founded by Paula Amorim, House of Capricorn explores the richness of Portuguese craftsmanship—from embroidery in the Minho region to basket weaving in the Azores—to create a collection of items handcrafted in Portugal.
Viana embroidery, rooted in the traditions of the Minho region, also inspires the designs on the plates. Plant fibers, crafted by basket weavers, are transformed into items for the table and the home. From one material to the next, the techniques echo one another, and the patterns recur.
It was this interplay that drew us in: a brand that combines the simplicity of materials with bold colors, and brings Portuguese traditions to life through everyday objects. Pieces chosen as much for their character as for the craftsmanship they showcase.
