As part of its collaboration with La Maison De Commerce, the gallery “Quand les fleurs nous sauvent” presents a selection of works by its signature artists.
The enigmatic photograph "Two Sides Of Every Story" by Brooke Didonato, whose work poetically reimagines familiar American suburban spaces. Through meticulously orchestrated compositions, Didonato questions the notion of realism, using the presence of flowers to create ambiguous and unsettling narratives of everyday life.
Alongside him, Maia Flore, winner of the HSBC Photography Prize, unveils her photographs “Mount Washington” and “Île Rousse,” in which her own moving body becomes the instrument of a poetic visual exploration. Her images, marked by a spontaneous dialogue with nature, evoke our relationship with life and dreams.
As for Manon Gignoux, winner of the Friends of the Fine Arts Award, she incorporates movement and volume into her creations. Her works invite viewers to rediscover the body’s place in space. She draws inspiration from nature, literature, and art to create her works and plays with the boundaries between the inanimate and the animate.
