Born in the Bauges, Jean-Paul knows all the secrets of his Massif: its history, its traditions, its woods, and in particular its unique, dazzling white sycamore maple.

Jean-Paul is one of the last masters perpetuating the ancestral know-how of the Bauges region, wooden crockery turned on a pole lathe.

A “silverware” initially named out of irony towards the modesty of its users, which finally reveals all the technicality, the finesse, the nobility of the know-how of this craftsman.
