Applewood pencil holder – Small model

According to the popular saying, “a good worker always has good tools“… You can put in this hand-turned pencil holder from Normandy apple trees, your pencils, brushes, and all your other “good tools”.

All our pencil holders are unique pieces, of absolute delicacy and finesse, made possible thanks to the perfect mastering of the technique by Antonis, an exceptional wood turner.

Each of these pots is turned green, originally perfectly cylindrical. It is then during drying that the wood, alive, deforms according to the points of tension of its grain. The shape of the pencil pot is then revealed, each one is random, particular…

For the record, this pencil holder has become in a few months one of our “best sellers”, recognized by one of the biggest names in French decorating, to whom was revealed the work of the wood turner Antonis. At La Maison de Commerce, we couldn’t be happier than when we highlight our best craftsmen!
